Last updated: please refer to the date shown on this page when you accept these terms.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Rureza website and the Rureza mobile app for tracking family income and expenses (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully before placing an order or using the Service. By placing an order or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
The Service is provided by Rureza ("Rureza", "we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us as follows:
If you need to contact us about an order, a complaint or any question about these Terms, please use the email address above and include enough detail for us to identify you and your request. We aim to reply to all enquiries within a reasonable time.
The Service helps you and your household record, categorise and review family income and expenses. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to enter into a contract with us. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep any login details confidential and to tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, copying or reverse-engineering the app except as permitted by law, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
Information about the Service on our website is an invitation to place an order and not a binding offer. The process works as follows:
Please keep your confirmation for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, contact us at [email protected].
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and, where applicable, include VAT at the prevailing rate. The price payable is the price displayed at the time you place your order. We may change prices for future orders at any time, but this will not affect an order we have already confirmed.
Payment is due at the time of order unless we state otherwise at checkout. We will confirm the accepted payment methods during the order process. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.
The Service includes access to the Rureza app and its features as described for your chosen plan at the time of purchase. Any features, limits or conditions specific to a plan will be set out on the plan description or at checkout. We may update, improve or modify the Service from time to time, provided we do not materially reduce what you have paid for during your paid period without a fair remedy.
If you are a consumer, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 normally give you the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days of the contract being made, without giving a reason. For digital content or services, the cancellation period starts when the contract is concluded.
If you ask us to start providing the Service or digital content within the 14-day period, you will be asked to acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once the Service has been fully provided or, for digital content, once access has begun, and that you may have to pay for the part of the Service already supplied if you cancel.
To cancel, tell us clearly by email to [email protected], by telephone on +44 117 763 6636, or by post to Rureza, 76 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS9 5AZ. Please include your name, the email used for your order and the order details. Where we are required to refund you, we will do so without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise.
Where the Service is offered as a recurring subscription, you may stop it at any time by contacting us. Unless the law requires otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content and services must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If the Service does not meet this standard, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
If you are unhappy with the Service, please tell us so that we can put things right. Write to [email protected] or to Rureza, 76 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS9 5AZ, describing the problem and what outcome you are looking for. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to give you a full response within a reasonable period. If we cannot resolve the matter together, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution provider, and you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts.
We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details of what we collect, why, and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy. In summary, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection.

The Service, including the app, website, design, text, graphics and software, is owned by or licensed to Rureza and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your personal, non-commercial household use in accordance with these Terms. You keep ownership of the financial information you enter, and you give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the above:
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we stop providing the Service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and refund any amount paid for the period you cannot use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or to the Service. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order. For ongoing subscriptions, we will give you reasonable notice of material changes, and you may cancel if you do not accept them.
For any question about these Terms, contact Rureza at [email protected], by telephone on +44 117 763 6636, or by post at 76 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS9 5AZ, United Kingdom.
